SA203GrB Nickel Alloy Steel Plate for Pressure Vessels - Chemical Composition & Manufacturing Process
SA203GrB belongs to the ASME SA203 series of low-nickel alloy steel plates for pressure vessel applications.
The series includes grades A, B, D, E, and F. Among them, grades D, E, and F have a nominal nickel content of about 3.5%, commonly referred to as "3.5Ni steel".
These grades offer excellent impact toughness and stable mechanical properties in low-temperature service, suitable for operating conditions from -70℃ to -101℃ (up to -107℃ in the quenched and tempered condition).
